I love to write. I love it so much that I assumed there was no way I could do it for a living. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but it is truly hard to imagine you can be paid to do something that made you happy when you were a child. In fact, I have a strong memory of being bummed when I was 9 years old. When my grandmother asked me what was wrong, I declared, “I am almost ten and I haven’t written my novel yet.”

Precocious much?

I now have written for many amazing websites and print magazines, including Food Network Canada, USA Today, Cottage Life, EmpowHER, MindBodyGreen and others. I also write newsletters for health or travel related publications. In my free time, I take writing classes because that is what you do when you have a passion. You go kind of crazy for it.

Here are some of my published articles (which feels like the modern equivalent of putting your finger painting on the fridge) on my online portfolio:

I am always excited to discuss new writing opportunities, or to speak to new writers who are wondering how to get started. I might even have you guest post on the blog!
